The location was particularly good and perfect - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. The room was bright and neat, had smoke detectors for the safety. The location was great and pleasant in a lovely area, near to Darwin in the future, and restaurants. Moreover, there was a lake within 30 mins walk from the hotel.

the hotel was absolutely great, with handy location to all places. the atmosphere created was special. it was real good 3 days, will be back.

The facilities here are amazing and the stay is always really good, plus it's only 15 km away from the airport.

There were comfortable beds and a refrigerator, an electric kettle, and a microwave in the apartment. As for me, the location was convenient, short walk to the city area, other attractions and the centre.

Maybe the bathroom vanity is getting a little shabby - but that is due to the humidity!

My only negative review was our bed, it was supposed to be a queen but was two singles pushed together with the wheels tied together undermeath, they tended to move slightly apart leaving a small crack in the centre of the bed

The location of Alatai Holiday Apartments is fantastic, close to the city, beach market, local tours, buses, and the CBD. It is a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful stay.

The hotel was absolutely great, and I enjoyed obliging staff and bright room. Enjoyable central location close to Mindl Beach, Museum, Botanic Gardens and the Grass festival and esplanade. Plus it was 10 mins drive from One Mile Dam.

for our purposes the appartments were great. We were there for the week had 3 days of leasure and 3 days conference. It fit our budget and was close to town and local transport. Easy access to the botanic gardens and Mindel beach. Thank you to the person who came out late to let us in to the room when locked out. The reception staff were helpful. Also a brand new microwave. Thai restaurant above reception excellent both dine in and take away but no menu included in the hotel info.. pity.

In the second room the light from outside could not be totally blocked as the blind did not work and dod not reach the sill. we worked around this. The kettle cord was not long enough and power poiints were minimal.... especially in todays world of chragers for mobiles, cameras, computers etc. Powerpoint access in the second room behind the beds, not easliy reached. In the main bedroom the aircon was not working on the remote, had to be manually turned off and on.

Location.

Air con: difficult to operate and a couple did not work properly; very basic furnishing including a damaged surface on coffee table (yuk...just needed replacing) and the absolute minimum kitchen ware for a family's needs in a self-contained unit. The area, whilst convenient, was colourful- ugly road works, industrial area, loud (partying) local residents, at times a bit disruptive and intimidating for children.
